i have lived in apartments for many years. the one thing that has usually been a poor aspect of the apartments i lived is the lack of competent maintenance people or lack of maintenance period. That is not the case here at Mountainridge. I see our maintenance guys busy all day long doing things to help residents and the property. Brendt the maintenance supervisor seems to have this under control and all the maintenance members have always been nothing but polite and professional. If there is on less thing you dont want to worry about, it is maintenance problems in your house at Mountainridge Apartments.

I moved in Friday, October 11th from Delaware and I’d first like to start off with building staff. Angie whom is the manager has been wonderful and very helpful throughout my whole application process. She was kind and patient. Ashleigh (leasing agent) was also very wonderful. When I finally arrived here, I was greeted by them both and they made sure i understood everything in the leasing agreement, had me download the apps for paying rent and using the laundry room, handed me my keys, and gave me directions to my unit. Another thing I’d like to speak about is maintenance. The maintenance guy that has been to my apartment (His name is Brandon) is very pleasant and works quickly yet efficiently. I had an issue with my dishwasher, and he came to check it out and explained what was wrong and told me I’d be receiving a new one. While here, I pointed out that my screen door was not working properly. Brandon checked it out and told me to just put in a work order to have it replaced. He explained to me how to do it, and he stopped by the next day with a new screen door. Mountain Ridge Apartments is a great place to be so far in my opinion. Neighbors are kind and pretty friendly, it’s quiet, and you even get a Mountain View.

They are constantly making improvements! Since I moved in over a year ago it’s almost a new place. I’m sure it will keep getting better and better! The grounds were always very well kept and clean thanks to Emory, and Wade and Brandon were always quick and effective in completing all of my maintenance requests! The hallways in the building were extremely well kept as well. Overall good experience renting here.

I have lived here for four years now. I love my apartment. It's really quiet and any problem I've had, the office took care of quickly. My only complaint is my husband's car has been broken into twice but it wasn't done by people that live here. The grounds are very nice and well kept. The pool is big and nice. I do like the gym. I haven't tried the washer and dryers but brand new ones were just put into every building. The view is amazing. I watch the city fireworks from my balcony and the labor day lift off. It really is good community and management is working toward improvements every day.

I have a good friend who's lived here now for about 2 years and I have visited at different times of the day and a few times at night and not once have I heard gun shots or seen any of the residents carrying guns. I like it because it's clean outside and inside. I've never witnessed anyone or anything that needed to be reported to the office. I didn't give a 5 star rating because I don't live there. But I have not seen any of the issues some seem to be claiming..

I'm glad I chose this place to live. The only complaint I have is the parking, there should be a separate place for visitors to park and spaces should be numbered. Residents should have the right to park close to their home instead of visitors

Although this is an older complex with maintenance challenges the staff here has steadily improved the service and respond to requests in a timely manner the only concern I have is something the staff can not control is the surrounding environment. There is homeless element in the neighborhood that makes maintaining the amenities challenging. We lived at the mountain ridge apartments for three years. Our 2 bedroom was kind of dated but it seems like the neighborhood had started to improved since we started living there. We chose mountain ridge because they were an affordable option for us at the time but they raised our rent quite a bit each year. (Average $150-200/year) which is why we moved. Eventually the cost outweighed what we were receiving and we felt we could pay the same for a nicer neighborhood and nicer home. Management was friendly and maintenance was always timely and nice.

I recently went with my friend to tour a 1 bedroom (she was looking for an apartment). The place looked pretty and the office staff was attentive and genuinely nice. Overall, it was night and day from when my sister lived here 6months ago. I don't know what changed but what a GREAT change that happened.

I have lived here for nearly 5 years. There have been ups and downs, but the staff have been very accommodating when times have been tough. Lakyn has gone above and beyond to make sure everything I've needed or had concerns about was taken care of. Office manager Cindy has also been helpful as well. After a year at Stratus Apartments, dealing with a ridiculous amount of stress due to terrible management & maintenance men who literally didn’t know what they were doing, mold in our apartment and extreme disrespect from the staff and maintenance men, we finally got a fresh start at the Mountain Ridge Apartments. We just recently moved into the Mountain Ridge Apartments & I couldn’t be more thankful of the staff members. The front office staff is absolutely amazing, very caring & always there to help. The maintenance men are amazing as well, very kind & great at their jobs! When I brought my paper down to the office with the small fixable issues within our apartment, the front office staff not only took notes of what I was most considered about but the maintenance man came up with me & fixed the two things I was considered about. I put in a maintenance request a couple days later for a few things that go messed up when we were moving in & he was done within 20 mins. Everyday I see the maintenance men out and about, keeping the property as clean as they can. They are also very kind & fully acknowledged my toddler when they come and complete maintenance request which I appreciate very much!! ( our last apartments maintenance men were always so rude & I tried to keep my daughter in a different room or right next to me.)

I was very happy with the way my broken refrigerator was handled. The young man, Dominic, who they sent to look at it, was quite knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed it by the sound it made. A little work and it was running great again. It's always nice to see someone who actually knows what their doing.

Had a 1 Bedroom for over 3 Years ,Rent went up every year at a crazy rate.Love my Apartment and also my Balcony .The ladies at the Office are all nice, if you need anything fixed ,its done in a timely matter.My only complained is the parking ,meaning not enough of them. As a single Woman you don't want to park to far away from your Apartment. Otherwise I would have given 5 Stars

I've been living here at Mountain Ridge Apartments for 2.5 years. The manager (Kathy) is very helpful and understanding. She's genuinely concerned about the residents that live here. Maintenance is quick to respond to work order requests. I would recommend Mountain Ridge to anyone looking for a place to call home. You can't beat the price for the square footage. Also, I haven't experienced any flooding issues despite all the negative reviews about a flooding problem with the bottom floor apartments. ????? My only complaint is the lack of parking space after 7pm.

Excellent experience!!! My dishwasher stopped working. The person sent to do the work checked the situation then conferred with his superior for the best solution. Once that was decided it took about 15 minutes to complete the task. The worker, whose name I can't remember, was courteous & professional the whole time. I was impressed!!!

This place is comfortable. The apartment is nice sized however the kitchen space is rather tiny. I’ve had no problems with the apartment or neighbors aside from our fridge leaking. The issue has been fixed but I asked not to enter the apartment unless someone was here because my cat runs out if you don’t pay attention. However, staff is really helpful even notified me when my cat has gotten out previously. Overall it’s been a better experience then other places I’ve lived.

It was a pleasure living @ mountain ridge both the tenents & the staff always greeted me with a wave and a smile & if it wasn't for my health issues i would have never left ! I would highly recommend any & all my friends to live there ! Whenever i had any problems the staff was right on it to take care of it quick and effectively ! 5 stars all day ! 😎

We been here over 6yrs. Office staff is very helpful and friendly and caring. Maintenance is very responsive. Very spacious living and no bugs or any issues since we been there. Parking is tuff but if others would follow the rules of their lease it would be not that bad. Rent is reasonable compared to other places. Pet friendly.

You all put in the order from when you did my inspection. You didn't schedule or notify you were coming. I'm glad I was home, the guy who came knew what he was doing. Threes a charm and this is the third time you sent somebody and finally the tub facet does not leak. I hate when people complain about the trash all over the parking lot,. If they don't like trash all over put your trash in the container instead of just throwing out your car and leaving it. All in all I like living here.

Been here for over 2 years and never been late paying rent. After having a baby after Thanksgiving I missed paying rent by 1 day and was charged $160.00 inlate fees! But other peoples fees were waived but mine was not. *Update: After my issue was brought up to the manager of the property. The manager resolved my issue promptly and really helped me. I couldn't be more happy with the current management team. Misunderstandings happen all the time and was glad the management team walked me through the whole thing.

When we first Moved Kelly (maintenance supervisor) approached us immediately introducing herself including her job title and welcoming us. She made sure we knew if there was anything we needed to let her know so that our move in was smooth. She's always friendly and smiles and says hello. She really makes you feel like a neighbor rather than a tenant, which makes this feel more like home rather than an apartment complex full of strangers. If all the staff are like she is we may never want to move!!!

The apartments are a good size. The landscaping is nice and green. Love access to a pool. Laundry fascilities on property. Wonderful view of distant mountain view. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they have a weight room too. Its close and more convenient

Awesome staff. Lived here for over a year with no issues. Nice area and conveniently located. Cheap washer/dryers and they actually work well (unlike some apartments I've been in). Good neighbors, near schools and parks. Dog friendly. I understand before we moves in they had issues but we have had no issues, I don't t know if this is because new management or repairs made, but I do recommend.

Despite the bad reviews me and my girlfriend decided to take over a 1br lease to save money and the place is actually a lot better then we expected. The neighbors are quite. The buildings are clean and the office staff is very friendly. The landscape is currently being improved and looks great. A convenient location. I wanted to take the time and say some good things about this place because things seem to be improving

This is going to be my second review. I was very upset at this complex when I published my first review but things have significantly changed since then. The complex change owners and name. I must admit ever since the change things have gotten a little bit better. They have remodeled the buildings on the outside to include new balconies and a fresh coat of asphalt in the parking lot. They have also redone the concrete on the sidewalks and around the pool. I had a lot of complaints before regarding the condition of my apartment. There still is room for improvement but overall I am satisfied. I decided one day to go in the office and complain about everything that was wrong. I was surprised that in less than one week they corrected everything I complained about and then some. I am NOT saying that this is a five star apartment complex or that there is no issues at all. I still see patrol cars in the parking lot almost once or twice a week but hey you never know who your neighbor is. I have no complaints about noise because in the past two years there has only been one party that has interfered with my sleep. I really enjoy the price and being able to get on the highway in less than 5 minutes which makes my commute to work very short. I would recommend you to give it a try and look around and see if you like it.
